Examples of our efforts as a responsible and eco-efficient company include:

Protection of our marine fauna through constant training of our crews.
Capture of the resource respecting closed areas and reserves, the minimum catch size of (12 cm), and the established net size.
Sampling of the resource by cove, reporting the biometrics and the incidence of juveniles, and the state of maturity of the resource.
Ecosystem care with the control of disposable waste and oily water.

Effluents generated in our industrial processes of direct and indirect human consumption, to comply with the D.S. N ° 010-2018-MINAM that regulates the maximum permissible limits (LMP).
Atmospheric emissions and air quality, to comply with the D.S. No. 011-2009-MINAM.
Environmental noise, to comply with the D.S. No. 085-2003-PCM.
Marine Body Receiver, to comply with the ECAs of water D.S. N ° 004-2017-MINAM

Centinela Fishing Company is committed to improving social and environmental conditions in the country, and especially in the communities in which it has an operational presence:

We are part of fishmeal producers associations in Chimbote, Tambo de Mora, and Chancay.
Through these we deliver training and carry out activities to improve health and nutrition, promote sustainable development, and foster respect and care for the environment.
