Substance of great nutritional value for being rich in essential fatty acids, Omega 3 (EPA and DHA) beneficial to health for its antioxidant and cardioprotective properties.
Quality management
01 Fishing
Responsible with the environment and efficient, guarantees volume and quality in fishing and follows the guidelines of the MarinTrust and FOS certifications.
02 Unloading
Transfer of the raw material from the boat to the plant through a continuous and ecological vacuum pumping system that uses little water and ensures the integrity of the fish.
03 Production
Innocuous process in which the maximum of solids and lipids are extracted from the anchovy and reaches an adequate balance of proteins and moisture.

High quality fish meal packaging analyzed and stored under strict sanitary safety standards.

Our vessel, E/P María I, reached international waters, marking an important milestone for Pesquera Centinela and demonstrating the commitment, preparedness, and dedication of our crew and all the teams who made this operation possible. This experience allowed us to take on new operational challenges, strengthen our expertise in international waters, and reaffirm our commitment to responsible and safe fishing.

As part of the strengthening of our Competency Model, leaders from our Chimbote and Chancay plants participated in workshops alongside leaders from Exalmar’s plants, creating valuable opportunities for shared learning and growth. These initiatives allow us to strengthen capabilities, share best practices, and continue building a culture rooted in leadership, collaboration, and people development.

At Centinela, we conclude this stage by reaffirming our commitment to responsible and sustainable fishing, prioritizing the protection of anchoveta stocks and the marine ecosystem. This closure also represents an opportunity to continue strengthening our adaptability, planning, and operational management capabilities.
