Since November 2016, when the Romero Group buys all of the shares of Pesquera Centinela and becomes the sole owner, we have undertaken a transformation process in search of operational-economic excellence. The hard work is paying off. This year for the first time we entered the Merco reputational survey, occupying an expectant fifth place within the fishing sector.
Merco (Monitor Empresarial de Reputación Corporativa) is one of the reference monitors in the world. It is a reputational assessment instrument launched in 2000, based on a multistakeholder methodology consisting of six evaluations and twenty-five sources of information. This ranking is generated following the weighting of various criteria such as Innovation Financial Results, Talent, Ethics and Corporate Responsibility. Through a corporate survey of more than 1300 people in Peru, including managers, analysts, representatives of NGOs, members of trade unions, professors, journalists.
